Familiar sights seen a-fresh through another’s eyes – Sierra de las Nieves

Having had a place in the foothills of the Sierra de las Nieves for a decade now, sometimes I take things for granted. The landscape, the people. Although I always celebrate the area and feel inspired by the views and feeling of space, I am at the end of the day very familiar with the daily life in this part of the world.

So it’s so refreshing to see another’s perspective. Kate and her family spent a short break in Cortijo de las Nieves and her travel notes and photos really capture the simple pleasures of the area. I really recommend you take a look at her blog. It was unseasonably cool that week, having had unseasonably record temperatures only days before, but that’s the weather for you!
