Bee Pollenating Almond Blossom Guaro Cortijo De Las Nieves Andrew Forbes Retrospective

Guaro’s ‘Dia del Almendro’ 27 January, 2013

Since Christmas the almond trees for which Guaro is renowned have been in blossom; normally these old, twisted trees burst into subtle pinks and pale whites around now, but with the mild, sunny January, the countryside has been full of colour and texture for sometime.

In fact this Sunday the village of Guaro is celebrating with the ‘Dia del Almendro’ with guided walks amongst the blossoming almond groves, and bars offering dishes made with almonds.
